Milinda Allen is an emerging songwriter, and while building a career writing songs for other artists and working as a professional backing singer, the idea to issue a collection of original song demos was an unexpected but welcome accident.
 
The original plan never really included going the route of performance, but when one track 'Some Happy Holiday' (an r'n'b track on Goodnightkiss Records) got taken up for a cd compilation and the original version was used, it sparked the beginnings of this project.
 
Because these songs were put together free of the constraints usually put on an artist to fit into a specific category, the songs are from a wide range of styles.
